About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is an 82% viscose, 18% linen cloth with a width of approximately 143cm, and it has a vertical repeat of about 11cm with no horizontal repeat. In the swatch, the check is built from slender tomato-red stripes, mossy olive bands and pale cream grounds, so the colourway feels warm, earthy and slightly sun-faded. The weave has a dry, lightly slubbed look that softens the geometry and keeps the overall effect relaxed. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it suits decorative schemes that want pattern without stiffness.

How to use it

Use it on a pair of relaxed armchairs, a skirted occasional chair or a window seat where the tomato red can warm up timber and neutral walls. It also works well alongside stone, aged brass and plain ivory upholstery to keep the check feeling fresh rather than busy.
