Colville Stripe Sienna

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF4905-07

Colville Stripe Sienna is a finely striped fabric with a warm, sunlit rhythm of ochre, biscuit and soft beige tones. The vertical pattern reads crisp but relaxed, with a subtle woven texture that keeps the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, this fabric has a smooth yet lightly textured handle that suits both drapery and upholstery applications. The stripe is set vertically with an approximate 7cm horizontal repeat and a 142cm approximate width, giving it a neat, tailored feel. In this colourway, the sienna notes are softened by creamy ground shades and a muted taupe-grey line, creating a warm but restrained palette. The overall effect is smart and traditional rather than bold, with enough depth in the weave to catch the light gently.

How to use it

This warm sienna stripe works well on tailored armchairs, cushions or full-height curtains where the vertical line can lend height. Pair it with pale oak, putty paintwork and plain linen textures to keep the room bright and grounded.

Use with natural linens and warm woods for an elegant, sun-baked look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Colville Stripe Sienna without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
