Radnor Red

Denbury FabricF4874-02

Radnor Red has a finely patterned, lattice-like surface with tiny linked motifs in a warm red clay tone over a pale ground. The result is crisp and textural, with enough colour to read clearly without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

This Denbury colourway combines 45% viscose, 22% linen, 20% cotton and 13% polyester, giving the cloth a balanced, dry-hand woven look with a little softened sheen in the red pattern. The repeat is small at approximately V 4cm / H 3cm, so the tiny geometric motif reads as a dense all-over texture rather than a bold statement. At approximately 144cm wide, it is a practical furnishing width for a range of projects, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BH fire code are supplied with the fabric. In this Radnor Red version, the colour sits between brick and rust, with a warm muted depth that lifts the pale ground and keeps the pattern sharp.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, bench or tailored curtains where the small-scale motif can add structure without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with oak, natural linens and soft stone shades, which bring out the earthy red tone.

Pair with warm neutrals and timber to let the lattice-like red detail stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
