03 Crimson

Deco Fabric03

Wemyss Deco 03 Crimson makes a strong first impression with saturated crimson markings set against a warm ivory ground. Its close-up pattern is sharply symmetrical, combining angular chevrons with irregular, branching edges.

About this fabric

The compact woven surface gives the design a tactile, subtly nubby appearance, while the deep wine-crimson areas bring considerable visual depth. Warm ivory channels separate the bold shapes, allowing the central V-form and surrounding stepped lines to remain clearly defined. The large-scale Deco-inspired motif has an almost dramatic, architectural rhythm rather than a delicate or floral character. No composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied for this fabric, so the visible weave and colourway are the defining details here.

How to use it

Pair this rich crimson colourway with ivory, camel or dark timber to soften its graphic contrast, or use it selectively on a statement armchair where the large motif can be fully appreciated.

Use this bold crimson and ivory design on a statement chair or occasional upholstery, balanced with warm neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside 03 Crimson without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
