About this fabric

The fabric has a saturated brick-crimson red ground with a fine crosshatched linen-look texture, overlaid by repeated white botanical silhouettes including maple-like leaves, pods, sprigs and simple flowers. Composed of 7% linen and 93% cotton, it is 137 cm (53.82") wide and has a 41 cm (16.11") vertical repeat with a 35 cm (13.75") horizontal repeat. Its stated uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, making the strong red-and-white pattern adaptable across soft furnishings. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm red colourway to bring depth to a neutral sitting room, or pair it with ivory, walnut and aged brass for a sharper traditional scheme. The white motifs make it especially effective on a statement chair, Roman blind or upholstered bedspread.

A warm red botanical print with crisp white silhouettes, equally suited to tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
