About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, near-black ebony rather than a softened charcoal, with only a restrained change in tone across the weave. The close, low-contrast texture keeps the surface smart and composed without introducing a visible pattern. Made from 100% polyester, it is 140 cm (55") wide and tested to 50,000 Martindale rubs. Supplied usage includes curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care guidance specifies a cool machine wash as the minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use Ebony to give tailored seating, a bedspread or full-length curtains a deep architectural outline. Its cool black tone works especially well against pale walls, warm timber and brushed metal, where the subtle weave prevents the finish from looking completely flat.
