About this fabric

Montpellier Velvet in Chocolate is a plain, deep brown velvet with a warm cocoa cast. The close, softly lustrous pile shows subtle shading as the light moves across the nap, rather than a printed motif. Made from 100% polyester, it is 140 cm (55") wide and tested to 100,000 Martindale rubs. The specification lists it for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify a cool machine wash minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleach, and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this chocolate brown on a tailored upholstered seat or headboard to bring dense, earthy depth to the room. As curtains or a bedspread, its softly shifting pile adds a quiet, warm finish rather than a patterned focal point.
