Montpellier Velvet Ivory is a softly luminous plain velvet with a gentle ivory tone and barely visible tonal movement across the pile. Its calm, light-reflective surface reads quietly refined rather than stark white.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 140 cm (55") velvet has a smooth face with subtle nap variation that gives the ivory colour a softly mottled, dimensional finish. The pale cream tone shifts gently with the light, avoiding the flatness of a hard white while retaining a clean, airy appearance. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for fixed upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care guidance includes cool machine washing as the minimum wash, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleaching, and cool ironing.

How to use it

Use this soft ivory colourway to lighten a tailored chair, headboard or full-length curtain while keeping the room warm and polished. It pairs especially well with natural timber, pale stone and quiet tonal layers where the velvet's subtle sheen can catch changing daylight.
