About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 140 cm (55") velvet has a softly shaded surface rather than a printed motif, with the pile creating gentle tonal variation across the swatch. The mole colour sits between warm grey and brown, giving it a grounded, quietly luxurious character. Rated to 100,000 Martindale, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions include a cool machine wash minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleach, and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this deep mole taupe on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa when you want velvet richness without a strong colour contrast. It also makes calm, weighty curtains or a softly coordinated bedspread against cream, stone, walnut and aged-metal finishes.
