About this fabric

Woven from 92% cotton and 8% polyester, this 137 cm wide fabric has a fine, even texture and a cool taupe-grey cast that reads quietly refined in the light. The low-contrast tonal variation across the surface adds softness while keeping the design understated. With a 45,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Ashwell Pewter to bring a calm, cool-neutral foundation to an upholstered chair, sofa or bedspread, then layer with warmer timber, natural linen or softly coloured accents. Its restrained tonal surface also makes composed full-length curtains without competing with patterned furnishings.
