Curzon Mole

Luxury Plains FabricZOF0007-02

Curzon Mole is a deep mole taupe with a softly shaded, velvety surface. In the close-up, darker vertical tonal areas sit beneath a muted brown-grey cast, giving the plain cloth considerable depth without a defined motif.

About this fabric

The surface appears dense and plush, with fine vertical ribbing and softly mottled bands that catch the light unevenly across the roll. At 486 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery rather than a lightweight curtain cloth. Its usable width is 140 cm, with 85 threads per cm contributing to the close, compact appearance visible in the weave. Both pattern repeat measurements are 0 cm, so the tonal texture can be placed freely without matching a design.

How to use it

Use Curzon Mole on a deep buttoned sofa, occasional chair or headboard where its dark taupe-brown tone can read as a warm, grounding neutral. Pair it with pale stone, aged timber and brushed metal to pick up the lighter flecks visible across the surface.

A dense, softly lustrous mole taupe with enough visual depth to bring richness to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
