About this fabric

The swatch shows a substantial plain fabric with a softly mottled surface and delicate vertical-looking texture rather than a printed motif. Its eau de nil shade is restrained and mineral, with lighter highlights catching across the weave and deeper sage-grey areas adding depth. At 486 gsm and 85 threads per cm, it has the weight and closely woven appearance expected of a hard-wearing upholstery cloth. The 140 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat allow straightforward cutting for upholstered forms.

How to use it

Use this cool eau de nil on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. Its muted sage-grey depth also works well against warmer taupes and natural linens.
