About this fabric

Each round medallion contains a frontal lion head surrounded by radiating leaf-like ornament, with fine brown-black linework and restrained gold-toned accents set against the vivid green ground. The contrast is deep and dramatic: the malachite reads cool and jewel-like, while the aged gold catches the eye without becoming bright or glittering. This wallpaper has a 68.6 cm usable width and a standard roll length of 10.05 m, with a 21.3 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat specified. Its supplied weight is 197 gsm.

How to use it

Use the deep green as a confident backdrop in a dining room, study or hallway, where dark wood and aged brass can reinforce the medallions’ antique character. Warm stone, tan leather or soft cream upholstery will keep the saturated malachite from feeling overly heavy.

Pair the saturated malachite ground with dark timber, aged brass and warm neutral furnishings to balance the ornate gold-and-brown medallions.
