Warwick

Matador Malachite

Matador Malachite appears as a deep, near-black green with a smooth, plush-looking surface. The gathered folds reveal subtle shifts from smoky green to almost-black shadow.

About this fabric

This Warwick fabric has a saturated malachite tone that reads cool, deep and quietly dramatic in the photograph. Its smooth, nap-like face catches the light softly rather than showing a visible woven pattern, while the folds create darker charcoal-green valleys. The fluid drape in the image gives the cloth a luxurious, substantial appearance suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Matador Malachite on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its deep green tone can anchor a moody, refined scheme. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber and warm neutrals to balance its cool depth.

Use this deep green plush-look cloth to bring dramatic, softly textured depth to upholstered furniture.

Pairs well with

Matador Malachite is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
