About this fabric

This textile has a substantial, upholstery-suitable appearance, with a tactile surface that gives the printed geometric design added depth. Large, irregular shards overlap in inky black, forest green, saturated teal, blue-grey and soft chalk, creating a faceted pattern rather than a regular repeat. The malachite tones are cool and dark, while small touches of acid green and pale aqua catch the light across the surface. Its layered colour and bold scale make the design read as an expressive statement fabric.

How to use it

Use Matiko Malachite on a statement chair, ottoman or sofa where its deep green ground can anchor a room. Pick up the chalk and blue-grey facets with quieter surrounding textiles, or echo the teal and green for a more immersive scheme.

Use this richly layered geometric in statement upholstery, balancing its dark green depth with chalk, teal and blue-grey accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
