Orimono Lotus

Zafaro Fabric

Orimono Lotus places loose, leaf- and petal-like forms across a cool pale celadon ground. Mustard, plum, olive and charcoal marks give the light background a layered, painterly character.

About this fabric

The fabric shown has a soft celadon and icy grey-green base, scattered with irregular botanical fragments in ochre mustard, olive, muted plum, charcoal and touches of rust. Fine intersecting white lines cross the surface, creating a delicate geometric glint over the blurred, painterly forms. The open-looking face and light visual weight make it best suited to drapery, where the pale ground can retain its airy appearance. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool celadon ground at a window or across full-length curtains, then pick up its mustard and muted plum marks in cushions, painted furniture or small decorative accents.

Use this cool celadon colourway to soften a room with painterly mustard, plum and olive accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Orimono Lotus without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
