About this fabric

This plain from J Brown’s Soulful collection is made from 100% Recycled Polyester and is specified for Heavy Domestic use, with a Martindale result of 40,000. The swatch shows a deep teal ground with a velvety, lightly striated surface that feels dark and textured, almost inked at the edges. Its cool green-blue tone shifts subtly as the light moves across the face, revealing lighter turquoise notes against a near-black base. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is a practical choice for upholstery that still carries a luxurious look. Professional Dry Clean in situ is advised, with further care details in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Soulful Teal on an accent chair, banquette or sofa where its dark, atmospheric colour can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with pale stone, dark timber and aged metal finishes.

Pair with walnut, smoked brass and warm neutrals to let the moody teal depth stand out.
