About this fabric

This colourway shows a dense, softly brushed-looking texture with fine horizontal movement across the face, so the surface feels lively rather than flat. The blue is very dark and cool-toned, sitting between navy and midnight blue with occasional brighter blue highlights revealed in the pile. It is made from 100% recycled polyester and has a 40,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for heavy domestic use. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is a practical choice where both appearance and performance matter. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this deep Oxford blue on an armchair, banquette or cushions to add tailored colour without brightening the scheme too much. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a sharp, contemporary contrast.

A rich navy-blue plain with a quietly textured finish that suits tailored upholstery and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
