Psychedelia Malachite Flat

Psychedelia Malachite Flat is a richly layered cotton print with a deep malachite ground and flashes of coral, blush and cream. The large, ornamental motif gives it a bold decorative presence with a slightly softened, painterly edge.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 20,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for General Domestic upholstery as well as drapery. The design reads as a large-scale, stylised damask with repeated floral medallions and foliate forms set against a dark green ground. In this colourway, the malachite background feels saturated and jewel-like, which makes the pink, peach and ivory details stand out sharply without looking harsh. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, giving flexibility for more tailored domestic schemes.

How to use it

Pair this malachite colourway with walnut, aged brass and creamy linens to balance the richness of the pattern. It works especially well on statement chairs, pelmets or full-length curtains where the deep green can anchor the room.

Use it as a statement fabric with crisp neutrals and warm metallic accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Psychedelia Malachite Flat without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
