About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Water Meadow fabric has a lively, textured look that reads as cool and refreshing rather than bright or glossy. The 46 cm by 46 cm repeat supports the gently undulating pattern visible across the cloth, while the 141 cm usable width gives good flexibility for larger projects. With a Martindale of 20,000 and a General Domestic upholstery grade, it is suitable for everyday upholstery as well as curtains and accessories, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. The Better Cotton content adds a reassuringly responsible note to a colourway that feels crisp, watery and easy to place in contemporary interiors.

How to use it

Use this jade green on a statement chair, relaxed curtains or cushions where you want texture as well as colour. It works especially well with sand, stone and light timber, or alongside deeper botanicals for a layered garden feel.

Pair with pale oak, linen and chalky neutrals to let the textured jade tones stay fresh and calm.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
