About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Water Meadow fabric has a 141cm usable width and a 46cm horizontal and vertical repeat, making the undulating pattern easy to plan across larger pieces. The surface looks dry and textured rather than glossy, with the small woven motif creating a subtle wave effect as the light catches the folds. Its muted grape tones sit over a natural beige base, giving the cloth a soft, earthy warmth rather than a strong purple note. With a 20,000 Martindale and General Domestic upholstery grade, it suits everyday seating as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR use in both drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use this colourway with pale oak, chalky plaster and brushed brass to keep the look warm and grounded. It also works well as relaxed curtains or a cushioned accent on a neutral sofa where the grape flecks can be seen in daylight.
