Babooshka Hot Pink Wavy

Babooshka Hot Pink Wavy is a vivid, high-contrast print with sweeping teal-blue and hot pink bands that ripple across the fabric. The large-scale motif feels energetic and playful, with a distinctly tropical edge.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester fabric has a substantial, versatile handle and a 146cm usable width, making it suitable for upholstery, drapery and accessories. The 72cm horizontal and 65cm vertical repeat creates a bold, oversized pattern that shows best when the motif is given room to flow. In this colourway, the hot pink ground is sharpened by teal, navy and lime accents, so the design reads bright and saturated rather than soft or muted. With a 40,000 Martindale rating and Severe Contract upholstery grade, it is specified for hard-working use, while FR treatment makes it suitable for both drapery and upholstery applications. The result is a statement textile that brings a glamorous, energetic pulse to a scheme.

How to use it

Use this colourway as the hero fabric on a sofa, banquette or occasional chair where the pink ground can energise the room. It also makes striking curtains or feature cushions alongside deep navy, teal or crisp white finishes.

Use it where you want a bold, tropical statement with a lively contrast of pink and blue-green.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Babooshka Hot Pink Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
