Babooshka Hot Pink Flat is a boldly patterned fabric with a saturated hot pink ground and layered birds-and-botanical motifs in teal, coral and soft gold. The large repeat gives the design a dramatic, almost wallpaper-like presence while remaining a textile.

About this fabric

This colourway is printed on 100% polyester and has a 146cm usable width, with a 72cm horizontal repeat and 65cm vertical repeat that create its generous, repeating scenic pattern. The swatch shows a vivid hot pink base punctuated by fine dotted detail, with cool blue-green foliage, coral flowers and small warm-toned birds that lift the palette. With a Martindale result of 40,000 and a severe contract upholstery grade, it is a practical choice as well as a decorative one. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, and the surface reads smooth and crisp rather than heavy or plush.

How to use it

Use it as a feature fabric on a statement chair, ottoman or blind where the hot pink ground can be seen in full. It also makes striking curtains or accessories alongside painted woods, deep teal, ivory or warm brass.

A vivid statement fabric that works beautifully when paired with calmer blue-green or ivory accents.
