About this fabric

The design is arranged as a series of classical figures standing among columns, pedestals and rounded architectural arches, with a painterly, distressed surface effect. In this colourway, cool city grey and near-black create the strongest depth, while bone highlights and muted ochre-brown strokes pick out the carved forms and figures. The 101.8 cm vertical repeat gives the scene a substantial, mural-like rhythm; the horizontal repeat is supplied as 0 cm. It has a 68.6 cm usable width, a standard length of 10.05 m and a listed weight of 188 gsm.

How to use it

Pair the cool slate and black ground with pale stone, smoked timber or charcoal-painted joinery to reinforce its architectural mood. Bone upholstery and muted ochre accents will draw out the lighter figures and warm brushwork without losing the colourway’s graphic contrast.
