About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted, cool silver grey rather than a warm stone or taupe, giving the plain surface a clean, contemporary depth. The close velvet pile looks finely textured and softly reflective, while the absence of a visible pattern keeps the colour and nap as the focus. At 420 gsm, with 71 threads per cm, it has the substantial handle expected of an upholstery velvet. The 140 cm usable width and 25 m standard length are supported by 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, making the plain cloth straightforward to position.
