About this fabric

The densely ornamented design alternates curling acanthus-like leaves, floral medallions and scrolling arabesques in closely related shades of silver and grey. Fine woven definition gives the motifs a gently textured edge, while the lighter ground keeps the overall colourway airy rather than heavy. This fabric weighs 335 gsm, has 98 threads per centimetre and provides a 141 cm usable width. Its 78 cm vertical repeat and 70.5 cm horizontal repeat make the large damask layout particularly suited to upholstery panels where the pattern can be aligned clearly.

How to use it

Pair the cool silver-grey tone with chalky whites, soft grey upholstery and polished or aged metal accents. On a headboard, occasional chair or formal ottoman, the generous repeat can act as the room’s principal decorative feature.
