About this fabric
This 335 gsm fabric has a richly detailed woven appearance, with curling leaves, shell-like scrolls and repeated floral medallions arranged in a stately damask layout. Its muted taupe ground gives the antique-gold highlights depth, while the lighter motifs catch the eye across the surface without appearing highly saturated. The fabric has a 141 cm usable width and a pattern repeat of 78 cm vertically by 70.5 cm horizontally, so the large-scale ornament should be considered carefully when cutting upholstered pieces. With 98 threads per cm, the close surface structure supports its substantial, decorative character.
How to use it
Use this warm, low-contrast colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or traditional sofa, pairing it with walnut, aged timber and quietly tonal taupe upholstery. Its antique-gold detailing also works well as a bridge between cream furnishings and darker bronze or brown accents.
