Seymour Spot Amber

Arcadian Weaves FabricZOF0209-01

Seymour Spot Amber is a substantial woven textile with a warm amber-ochre ground and a closely spaced pale cream spot pattern. Its fine geometric structure reads as softly textured rather than bold from a distance.

About this fabric

At 583 gsm and 84 threads per centimetre, this is a dense, weighty weave with a firm visual presence suited to upholstery. The amber ground shifts between ochre and warm brown in the image, while the pale cream marks form a regular field of small elongated lozenges. The pattern has a 3 cm vertical repeat and an 11 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the motif finely distributed across the cloth. It is supplied at 133 cm usable width, with a standard length of 35 metres.

How to use it

Use this warm amber colourway on a statement armchair, dining chair or footstool where its ochre depth can sit alongside walnut, aged timber and cream upholstery plains. The small cream lattice also works as a textural counterpoint to larger-scale checks or quieter brown accents.

A substantial amber-and-cream woven spot that brings warm depth and fine geometric texture to upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Seymour Spot Amber without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
