Dragon Flamestitch Charcoal

Arcadian Weaves FabricZOF0201-01

Dragon Flamestitch Charcoal brings tightly undulating bands of charcoal, graphite, ivory and soft stone across the surface. Its lively flamestitch rhythm is softened by the visibly tactile, slightly irregular weave.

About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 997gsm and has a usable width of 136cm, giving the design a convincingly upholstery-ready presence. The charcoal ground reads cool and deep, while broken ivory and pale grey accents pick out each wave without making the colourway feel stark. A 26cm vertical repeat and 23cm horizontal repeat create a closely paced, all-over movement across the cloth. The fine, frayed-looking edges within the woven bands add textural depth and stop the graphic pattern from appearing too hard or geometric.

How to use it

Use Dragon Flamestitch Charcoal on a structured armchair, headboard or sofa where its dense charcoal tone can anchor a room. Balance the cool grey-black waves with warm ivory, stone or natural timber accents to bring out the lighter threads.

A substantial charcoal-and-ivory woven with rhythmic flamestitch movement, well suited to tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dragon Flamestitch Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
