About this fabric

The design shows overlapping leafy branches and small sprigs, with pale cream highlights and muted gold foliage catching the eye against the dark, softly mottled ground. Its 61 cm vertical repeat gives the pattern a consistent climbing rhythm, while the 0 cm horizontal repeat keeps the width visually continuous. Supplied at a 52 cm usable width and a standard 10.05 m length, it is specified at 192 gsm. The restrained antique-gold palette feels warmer and more subdued than a bright metallic, giving the intricate pattern a quietly aged character.

How to use it

Use this colourway in a study, dining room or snug where its antique-gold leaves can sit against charcoal paint, warm taupe upholstery and dark, aged wood. Keep surrounding fabrics relatively quiet so the dense foliage remains the focal point.

Pair the muted gold foliage with charcoal, taupe and aged timber for a layered traditional scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
