About this fabric

This substantial 390 gsm woven fabric has a richly textured surface, giving the mustard-gold background a softly nuanced appearance as the light catches the weave. Ivory botanical sprays run across the cloth, with pale grey-green shading adding definition to the foliage and blossoms rather than introducing a strong contrasting colour. The pattern repeat measures 73.5 cm vertically by 69.5 cm horizontally, so the floral composition has a generous scale on upholstered furniture. With a 137 cm usable width, 216 threads per cm and a standard 35 m length, it is well suited to coordinated upholstery projects where the warm Tigers Eye tone can act as a confident focal colour.

How to use it

Use this warm Tigers Eye colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa, pairing its mustard-gold ground with aged timber, natural linen and chalky ivory accents. The pale botanical detail also works well with muted olive or soft grey-green accessories that pick up the cooler shading in the leaves.

A richly coloured, substantial botanical weave for statement upholstery and heritage-inspired interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Coromandel Weave Tigers eye without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
