About this fabric

The cream ground is filled with an all-over branching botanical design: blue-grey leaves, lilac blooms and smaller clustered flowers sit among curling stems and fine tendrils. The blue is muted rather than saturated, while the lilac introduces gentle mauve depth against the lighter background. At 425 gsm and 69 threads per cm, this is a substantial, closely constructed textile suited to upholstery. Its 140 cm usable width carries a 140 cm horizontal repeat and a 166.5 cm vertical repeat; the standard length is 60 m.

How to use it

Use Kalamkari Blue / Lilac on a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool blue foliage and soft lilac flowers can be read against the cream ground. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale blue-grey paint or weathered timber to retain its calm, collected character.

The cool blue and soft lilac botanical arrangement brings gentle colour and detailed pattern to upholstered seating.
