About this fabric

The blue artwork moves from fine ink-like outlines to softly washed mid-blue shading, giving the cream background a gently aged, illustrated quality rather than a flat block of colour. Ornate urns, acanthus scrolls, blooms and curling tendrils create a formal, richly detailed surface at medium scale. This 344 gsm fabric has a 140 cm usable width and a 60 cm vertical repeat with a 69.6 cm horizontal repeat. Its 25.2 threads-per-cm specification supports the impression of a substantial, closely made cloth, suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on a statement armchair, dining seat or full-length curtain, then echo its pale blue shading with plain linens and soft cream upholstery. Its formal damask detail also suits a library, bedroom or traditional sitting room where the pattern can be seen at close range.
