Mitford Weave Tigers Eye combines an antique ochre-gold ground with a closely detailed damask of rosettes, pomegranate forms, lattice diamonds and curling foliage. Its warm, bronze-like depth gives the pattern a softly aged, illuminated character.

About this fabric
This 295gsm Zoffany weave has a 145.5cm usable width and a substantial-looking surface suited to both upholstery and drapery. The large 94cm vertical by 72.5cm horizontal repeat is organised around symmetrical floral medallions, stylised pomegranates and scrolling leaves. In this Tigers Eye colourway, pale golden motifs stand out against a deeper ochre-brown ground, creating tonal contrast rather than a sharp multicolour effect. The supplied 400 threads-per-cm specification reflects the finely detailed construction visible across the dense pattern.
How to use it
Use Tigers Eye on a classic armchair, upholstered dining seat or full-length curtain where its warm ochre-gold tone can sit alongside walnut, aged brass, caramel leather and muted stone. Because the repeat is large and ornate, it works especially well as a focal textile rather than in small scattered accents.
