About this fabric

A symmetrical damask of urn-like floral forms, curling leaves and smaller blossoms repeats across the cloth in muted warm grey-beige. Against the white-opal ground, the motif reads softly rather than sharply, with the woven surface adding gentle tonal depth to the pale palette. At 380 gsm, with 118 threads per cm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 144.5 cm, and the design has a 51 cm vertical repeat and 48 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use White Opal on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its ivory-and-greige balance can brighten the room without losing the formality of a traditional damask. It works especially well with warm whites, limestone, pale oak and understated antique finishes.

Pair this softly contrasting damask with warm ivory upholstery, pale timber and brushed metal for a calm, collected scheme.
