About this fabric

The Mousseaux colourway combines a muted taupe ground with lighter, closely drawn damask motifs, allowing the medallions, urns and scrolling foliage to emerge with restrained contrast. Fine tonal variation across the weave catches the light on the pale motifs and gives the darker ground a subtle depth. This 300gsm fabric has a usable width of 140cm, a vertical repeat of 106cm and a horizontal repeat of 70cm, with 132 threads per centimetre. Its substantial mid-weight handle makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where the large-scale pattern can be properly aligned.

How to use it

Use Mousseaux on a classic armchair, headboard or full-length curtain to balance the ornate damask with warm ivory, aged timber and other quiet taupe textiles. The soft mushroom tone is especially effective where a room needs pattern without a strong or saturated colour statement.

Use the softly contrasting mushroom-taupe damask to bring ornamental depth to upholstery, curtains or blinds.
