About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet weighs 416gsm, giving the cloth a substantial handle appropriate for upholstery. The Olivine colourway is a cool, shadowed olive rather than a bright leaf green, with darker grounds and softer raised pattern details creating a layered, almost mossy depth. Its large damask repeat measures 92cm vertically by 66cm horizontally, allowing the central botanical forms to read clearly across a chair, headboard or upholstered panel. The usable width is 132cm, with a standard length of 60m.

How to use it

Use this deep olive colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its formal botanical scale can be appreciated. Pair it with aged brass, dark timber and warm stone to draw out the velvet’s subdued green depth without competing with the pattern.
