Mitford Weave Malachite presents an intricate damask in deep, cool teal-green, with muted gold ornament picked out across the surface. The dense woven appearance gives the colourway a shadowed, jewel-toned depth rather than a bright green finish.

About this fabric
This 295 gsm Zoffany fabric combines a malachite-toned ground with aged muted-gold floral, foliate and pomegranate-like damask motifs. The large-scale arrangement is defined by a 94 cm vertical repeat and a 72.5 cm horizontal repeat, creating strong symmetry across the cloth. At 400 threads per cm and 145.5 cm usable width, the woven surface has a substantial, closely detailed character suited to statement upholstery. Light catches the raised-looking gold pattern against the darker teal ground, bringing out the scrolling foliage and central rosette forms.
How to use it
Use the deep malachite teal on a feature chair, ottoman or sofa where the muted-gold ornament can read clearly, then echo its warmth with aged brass, walnut or ochre accents.
Use this richly ornamented malachite weave on statement upholstery, balanced with warm timber and quieter textiles.
