Brocatello Stone

Damask FabricZOF0001-09

Brocatello Stone presents a pale stone-taupe ground overlaid with softly contrasting ivory scrollwork and stylised floral damask motifs. The woven surface gives the colourway gentle tonal depth rather than a sharp printed contrast.

About this fabric

This 300 gsm woven fabric features a formal, symmetrical damask of curling acanthus leaves, floral forms and scrolling foliage. Its pale stone-taupe ground has a cool, softened quality, while the ivory motifs appear subtly raised and lighter as they catch the surface light. The design has a 72.5 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat, creating a clearly legible large-scale pattern across the 140 cm usable width. With 97 threads per cm, the close weave gives the fabric a refined, lightly textured appearance suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use this pale stone taupe colourway on a statement chair, headboard or full-length curtains where its ivory damask can read softly against warm white, limestone, chalky grey or aged wood.

Pair the pale stone taupe ground and ivory damask with warm timber, quiet neutrals or softly aged metallic accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
