Antiquary FabricZOF0153-03

Indienne Print Tigers Eye/Cinnabar combines an earthy olive-ochre ground with curling branches, stylised flowers and finely drawn foliage. Turquoise, pale blue, cream and cinnabar-red details bring colour and depth to the densely composed botanical scene.

About this fabric

This 205gsm fabric is specified at 40 threads per cm, giving the cloth a substantial mid-weight presence for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its 136.5cm usable width carries a large design with a 166cm vertical repeat and a matching 136.5cm horizontal repeat. The Tigers Eye ground reads as warm, muted olive ochre, while turquoise petals, cinnabar-red flowers, pale blue details and cream linework stand out across the surface. Fine leafy sprays surround larger stylised blooms and twisting woody stems, creating a richly layered Indienne composition.

How to use it

Use this warm olive-ochre colourway on a statement chair, ottoman or full-length curtains where its turquoise and cinnabar accents can be echoed in cushions, ceramics or painted joinery. It works especially well with walnut, aged brass and quiet cream upholstery or walls.

Pair the olive-ochre ground with natural timber, warm neutrals and carefully chosen turquoise or cinnabar accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
