Montpellier Velvet Silver has a quiet, silver-grey surface with a softly directional velvet nap. Its restrained colour shifts subtly as the light moves across the cloth, giving the plain design gentle depth.

About this fabric

This plain velvet is woven from 100% polyester and measures 140 cm (55") wide. The cool silver-grey tone appears softly mottled in the photograph as the nap catches the light, rather than reading as a flat uniform grey. Rated to 100,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions include cool machine washing as a minimum, professional dry cleaning, cool ironing, and no tumble drying or bleaching.

How to use it

Use the cool silver tone to bring a calm, polished finish to an upholstered headboard, occasional chair or full-length curtain. Pair it with charcoal, pale stone and brushed metal for a quietly contemporary room.
