Montpellier Velvet Mist is a quiet, plain velvet in a softly blended taupe-grey tone. Its close surface shows a restrained vertical nap that shifts gently as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a cool, dusty neutral, balancing grey with a faint warm taupe cast rather than appearing stark or silvery. A subtle velvet pile gives the otherwise plain face gentle depth, with slightly darker and lighter bands visible through the nap. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 140 cm (55") wide, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 100,000 Martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for hard-working fixed upholstery as well as softer furnishing applications.

How to use it

Use this misty taupe-grey on a generously upholstered chair, sofa or headboard where its low-contrast nap can add depth without introducing a pattern. It also brings a calm, softly shaded finish to full-length curtains or a tailored bedspread.
