Montpellier Velvet Bottle is a richly saturated bottle-green velvet with a quiet, smooth surface and subtle tonal movement where the pile catches the light. The plain ground lets the depth of this dark green shade take centre stage.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 140 cm (55") wide velvet has a dense-looking surface with gentle shifts between deep green and slightly lighter emerald tones as the nap changes direction. Its plain appearance keeps the emphasis on colour, while the soft sheen visible across the swatch adds depth rather than a high-gloss finish. The 100,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for fixed upholstery, as well as its listed curtain and bedspread applications. Supplied after-care includes a cool machine wash, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleach and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this bottle-green shade on a statement chair, sofa or headboard against warm timber, aged brass and quieter neutral textiles. As curtains or a bedspread, its dark green depth can give a room a more enveloping, tailored feel without introducing a pattern.
