About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep, cool charcoal black, with very little contrast across its dense-looking surface. At close range, a fine grain and softly uneven tonal texture are visible rather than a pronounced printed motif. Lexham Ebony is made from 100% polyester, measures 140 cm (55") wide and is specified for fixed upholstery. Its 45,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for frequently used upholstered seating.

How to use it

The near-black charcoal tone works well on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat, particularly against pale walls, natural timber or warm metallic accents. Its quiet surface texture adds depth without introducing a competing pattern.
