Carnival Plain Parchment is a softly warm cream textile with a gentle parchment cast. Its close plain weave shows fine tonal variation across the surface rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

Woven from 54% polyester and 46% cotton, this 140 cm (55") fabric has a subtle, even texture that gives the pale cream colour quiet depth. The neutral parchment tone reads warmer than stark white, with the fine weave catching the light softly across the swatch. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After care is cool machine washing as a minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleach, and cool ironing.

How to use it

Use the warm parchment cream to soften a tailored armchair or headboard, or make full-length curtains where its low-contrast weave can sit quietly alongside wood, chalky neutrals and natural textures.
