Jive Ochre combines a rich ochre-gold ground with closely spaced ivory waves that run vertically across the cloth. The fine, repeating movement gives the surface a lively, almost rippling appearance.

About this fabric

From Baker Lifestyle’s Carnival collection, this fabric is made from 75% viscose and 25% polyester and measures 137 cm wide. The warm ochre shade has a deep mustard-brown quality, while the pale undulating lines create a clear, high-contrast rhythm without feeling harsh. Its visible woven texture gently softens the graphic pattern as the light moves across the surface. A 3 cm vertical repeat and 7 cm horizontal repeat keep the motif compact, and the 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the warm ochre tone to add depth to a neutral sitting room, particularly on a statement chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains. Pair it with ivory, tobacco, dark wood and muted olive accents to echo the fabric’s earthy warmth.
