Carnival FabricPF50427.5

Samba Stripe Blush combines closely spaced vertical lines in dusty blush, warm cream, taupe and muted grey-green. The fine stripe has a softly varied, woven appearance rather than a stark two-colour contrast.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as warm and gently muted, with blush pink providing the dominant note while narrow cream, taupe and grey-green lines add depth. The fabric is woven from 52% viscose, 43% polyester and 5% cotton, with a 142 cm width and a 36 cm horizontal pattern repeat. Its 45,000 Martindale rub test supports the specified uses of curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the dusty blush ground to soften a bedroom headboard or bedspread, balancing it with warm ivory and taupe. As curtains, the fine vertical striping will add subtle rhythm without overpowering the room's larger furnishings.

A fine multicoloured stripe that brings muted blush warmth to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Samba Stripe Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
