Carnival Plain Ocean is a soft, pale blue plain weave with a subtly mottled surface visible across the swatch. Its cool ocean tone shifts gently between blue and blue-grey as the fine yarn texture catches the light.

About this fabric

Woven from 46% cotton and 54% polyester, this 140 cm-wide fabric has a fine, even texture rather than a printed motif. The pale ocean-blue colour reads cool and airy, with delicate tonal variation from the closely set threads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for fixed upholstery, while the supplied usage also includes curtains and bedspreads. Care instructions specify a cool minimum machine wash, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying, no bleaching and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this cool ocean blue to soften a window seat, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and blue-grey accents. Its plain surface also works neatly alongside stronger patterned cushions without competing for attention.
