Orchard Soft Blue is a finely textured woven fabric with a cool, softened blue-grey ground and a closely spaced interlocking geometric motif. The pale woven detailing gives the surface a gently mottled, quietly dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

This Baker Lifestyle Block Weaves colourway combines a muted blue-grey base with light grey-beige threads forming a small repeating lattice of linked diamond and leaf-like shapes. Its 4 cm vertical and 5 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the geometry discreet across the 140 cm width. Woven from 52% viscose, 23% cotton, 14% linen and 11% polyester, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use Orchard Soft Blue on a sofa, headboard or relaxed armchair where its cool, dusty tone can soften warmer timber and natural finishes. It also gives curtains or a bedspread a restrained geometric layer without introducing a strong contrast.
