Purbeck Stripe Aqua has a cool, washed aqua ground arranged in vertical stripes, with broad bands set against finer broken blue lines. Its woven surface gives the colour a softly textured, understated appearance rather than a flat printed finish.

About this fabric

The design alternates broad pale-aqua stripes with narrow dotted and dashed aqua-blue lines, creating a measured vertical rhythm across the cloth. This colourway reads as light, cool and gently muted, with the finer stripes adding definition without making the overall fabric feel busy. Woven in 100% cotton, it is 130 cm (51.07") wide and has a horizontal pattern repeat of 21.6 cm (8.49"). The supplied uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the cool aqua tone to brighten a relaxed sitting room, bedroom or coastal-inspired scheme, particularly on loose covers, a blind or full-length curtains. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and soft blue-grey accents to echo the fabric’s low-contrast stripe structure.
